The air-Q is much more than an air measuring device. The data on room air provides important information for your Smart Home. As a sensor centre, the air-Q can serve as a signal generator for automatic window opening, the control of air purifiers or even the switching on and off of heaters, depending on the room use, pollution, number of people (and much more). Since the air-Q provides a multitude of parameters, completely new possibilities for your Smart Home arise.
All air-Qs with Science Option offer additional functions for scientists and developers by using the air-Q API.
These can be set via the smartphone app and web app. Some settings and activation of new functions can only be made on the device via HTTP POST commands or by changing the settings files of the air-Q and are aimed more at technically experienced users. We are happy to provide assistance here.
In addition to all the setting options in the smartphone app, the configuration options include the following:

Query data at 2-second intervals even without a smartphone app via HTTP GET commands

Adjust intervals for data transmission and data storage (default: 2 minutes; can be changed to 2 seconds).

CSV Direct Export: CSV data is saved directly to the memory card of the air-Q and can be used immediately (without using our JSON-2-CSV converter)

Individually adjust / deactivate calibration functions for scientific investigations (default: auto-calibration activated)

Configure MQTT and adjust the target server of the data transmission (default: air-Q Cloud and my.air-q.com)

Customize and time settings for WLAN, LEDs, audible alarms, etc. beyond the predefined specifications.

Access to hidden functions and previously inactive measured variables as well as experimental functions. (Presence detection, particle counts at the particulates sensor, evaluation of determined error values / standard deviations of sensors...)
