The air-Q is much more than an air measuring device. The data on room air provides important information for your Smart Home. As a sensor centre, the air-Q can serve as a signal generator for automatic window opening, the control of air purifiers or even the switching on and off of heaters, depending on the room use, pollution, number of people (and much more). Since the air-Q provides a multitude of parameters, completely new possibilities for your Smart Home arise.
The air-Q Science Option enables access to the API of the air-Q. Access to the air-Q API is aimed at advanced users with programming experience who want to exploit the functionality of the air-Q to a greater extent. This allows very special configurations to be passed to the device for further communication paths (e.g. HTTP POST to a server or MQTT to a broker).
The configuration options include all the setting options of the smartphone app with even more room for customisation, among others:

Query data at 2 second intervals even without a smartphone app

CSV Direct Export: CSV data is saved directly to the memory card of the air-Q and can be used immediately (without using our JSON-2-CSV converter)

Adjust intervals for data transmission and data storage (default: 2 minutes; can be changed to 2 seconds).

Disable / adjust calibration functions for scientific investigations (default: auto calibration enabled)

Configure MQTT and adjust the target server of the data transmission (default: air-Q Cloud and my.air-q.com)

By accessing API commands, all settings can be customised and timed beyond the predefined specifications - affects Wi-Fi, LEDs, audible alarms, etc.

Access to hidden functions and previously not activated measured variables as well as experimental functions.
