No other air quality measuring device currently available has more sensors than the air-Q. All values can be viewed, analyzed and evaluated using the smartphone app or web app - but the air-Q can do much more.

For professional users such as companies, research institutions and enthusiasts, we offer additional functions for even more possibilities. The new air-Q Premium features include advanced data-intensive analysis options, more flexibility in data visualization and additional automation options. The premium features are now available for private customers to test free of charge.

With the air-Q, there is the free air‑Q smartphone app and the air‑Q web app with live measured values, diagrams and clear evaluations and individual tips for better air. Thanks to the highly sensitive sensors and our sophisticated software, early warnings of dangerous situations can be given and causes and hidden sources of pollutants can be quickly detected. The range of functions is also continuously upgraded through free software updates.

Live air quality data - with and without the Internet

In addition to the second-by-second live data (no internet required), measurement data can optionally be transferred to the air-Q Cloud. To use this function, an online account must be created at my.air-q.com and the data upload must be activated in air-Q - you decide which data is uploaded. With the air-Q Cloud, you can also access real-time measurement data on the go via the air-Q smartphone app and web app for an unlimited number of air-Qs.

Direct connection for mobile use without router

You can also use the air-Q smartphone app to gain live access to all measured values without a Wi-Fi router via a direct connection. The measured values are transmitted from the air‑Q to the smartphone in real time via the direct Wi-Fi connection (2-second measurement interval). This means that the air‑Q can also be used on the move - no one else can do that! As an option, you can also integrate the air-Q into your mobile hotspot, making it even more convenient to use the air-Q on the move.

Smart alarms of the air‑Q

With the air-Q, you can set unlimited audible alarms with your own threshold values for each measured variable. You can also use our preset alarms for fire and gas. In addition, you can use the air-Q's smart alarms to receive visual, push and email notifications in the event of fire, smoke, gas, intrusion and system failure - or you can define your own rules and thresholds.

Smart widgets for the presentation of the measured values

air-Q Smart Widgets allow the integration of sensor data in the form of self-updating measured value displays or diagrams on external screens, websites or in presentations without requiring a user account from the viewer. A free online account in the air-Q cloud is required for this.

Local API access directly to air‑Q

air-Q Science devices allow access to the air‑Q device API (REST-API). The air-Q can be addressed directly via the API interface in order to access the extended firmware functions and make individual settings. Cloud access is not necessary.
Attention: Access to the local API is only available in air‑Q Science and on request for individual device configurations.

Paid functions

In response to requests from our corporate customers, we have developed additional functions aimed at professional customers and enthusiasts. These data-based and server-heavy functions can be used via premium access. During the test period, all premium functions for private customers can be used free of charge. However, availability cannot yet be guaranteed during the test period.

With the air-Q widget dashboards, you can arrange important air quality data according to your needs and display it at a glance. You can choose from a variety of widgets, including real-time measurement maps, trend charts and summaries of air quality indices. The dashboards can be customized and configured for different rooms or departments.

Web API for individual cloud-based connections

For advanced integration scenarios, we offer a fully documented API. This enables direct connection to your existing systems such as building management systems, HVAC systems or business intelligence tools. Extended diagrams

With the introduction of two additional chart types, we offer a better overview for users with many air-Qs. With our new Heatmap-Chart(beta) you can see buildings and floors at a glance. Our new Plenty-Sensors-Diagram(beta), on the other hand, allows scientific users to see all measured values of an air-Q at a glance to recognize correlations even better, and we also offer the possibility to display up to 3 diagrams simultaneously in our webapp.

Individual AI - Air Quality Advisor

Our new AI Air Quality Advisor (Beta) uses artificial intelligence to analyze your air quality data and provide tailored recommendations. It can recognize complex patterns in your measured values and derive individual and concrete recommendations for action. The assistant is particularly valuable for facility managers and health officers who want to make data-based decisions. We also offer the option of creating automatic reports and sending them as PDFs. Among other things, these can support the creation of long-term certificates (radon, mold, noise, cigarette smoke).

Web data export in CSV format

All measurement data is always stored free of charge on the air-Q's internal memory card as JSON and can be converted to CSV for further processing. For companies and research institutions, we also offer extended export functions that can be used via the web app. All measurement data can be conveniently exported in CSV format via the web app, which enables easy further processing in statistical software. Data exports can be automated and set up according to schedules to simplify regular evaluations.

Data storage and backup

All data in the air-Q Cloud is stored in high resolution for at least one month. All customers with premium features receive unlimited volume and high-resolution data storage for measurement data in the air-Q Cloud. Not only can you conveniently reuse all historical data at any time, but you also benefit from a secure backup and documentation of your measurement data.

Events and notifications

With the extended events and notifications, an unlimited number of individual threshold values can be defined. If the threshold values are reached, alarms can be triggered or events can be controlled. For example, an unlimited number of actions can be triggered via webhooks (e.g. to control a smart socket ) when a threshold value is reached.

Do I need a Premium membership to be able to use my air-Q?

No. The air-Q can also be used without a Premium membership. Most of the functions are free of charge and can even be used without an online account.
An online account is also free of charge and allows access to many other useful functions for air quality measurement and analysis even without a premium membership.

Is there a way to test the premium functions?

Can I also connect the air-Q to smart home systems without premium functions?

The air-Q also works completely without Premium access. You can upgrade from the standard version to the premium version at any time to use the new functions without losing your existing data.

Will my data be deleted on the air-Q without a Premium membership?

No, your data on the air-Q will never be deleted, regardless of the package you have booked. All measurement data will always remain on your air-Q.
However, you can use the Premium membership to permanently store all your measurement data in the air-Q Cloud. You can then view or export it at any time.
