Proper insulation

Make sure that your heating pipes are properly insulated. Even a short piece of uninsulated heating pipe can cause a large loss of heat. Furthermore, you should check doors and windows for sufficient insulation.

Set thermostat correctly

With an electric thermostat that displays the temperature, you can heat your rooms as recommended. The kitchen and bedroom should remain cooler (16-18 °C) and the living room and children's room should be heated to a comfortable 22 °C. Proper ventilation with air-Q

Proper ventilation is one of the most important things when it comes to saving energy. A permanently tilted window leads to enormous heat loss, while airing too infrequently increases the risk of mold. You can find the right dose with the air-Q. Attention Myth:

A common myth is that you should never turn off the heating completely, because it consumes more energy to completely heat up a cooled down room. This is wrong! Generally speaking, if you heat less, you pay less. Always turn your heating off, or to the frost protection level, when you leave the house for a long time, or sleep.

Lead Time & Post Heat:

If your heating system has a timer, be sure to use it. Turn your heating off at night and only turn it on again one or two hours before you get up. Turn off the heating before you leave the house, because radiators and especially underfloor heating still radiate heat for a long time, which you can use free of charge.
