We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about indoor air or the air-Q. We are also open to sales partnerships and collaborations and look forward to hearing from you.
All data is stored on an SD memory card and in the app as soon as it connects to the device. The data is only transferred to the Internet and the air-Q Cloud with the owner's consent. However, this is useful for making sense of some functions that cannot be implemented otherwise - for example, the health advisor.
The server on which the online data is stored is physically located in Germany.
Question asked by Thomas H.
The air-Q requires approx. 1.5 watts (5V x 300 mA). A power bank with 10,000 mAh is therefore sufficient for mobile operation for approx. 33 hours.
We only use sensors from manufacturers who provide us with individual calibration data for each individual sensor. In this way, we ensure that all sensors have the highest possible accuracy. In addition, we carry out a base-line calibration for each air-Q during production. For cost reasons, we do not issue individual calibration certificates.
The smartphone app allows you to carry out a base line calibration yourself at home - e.g. if this is necessary due to a shift in the base line. The air-Q also has an automatic base line calibration / drift correction function. This uses a certain number of measuring points and continuously determines a new calibration value - as a rule, a new calibration value is generated after 1-2 weeks, should this be necessary.
