We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about indoor air or the air-Q. We are also open to sales partnerships and collaborations and look forward to hearing from you.
The production of all sensors is subject to manufacturing-related variations - for example, the electro-chemical sensors we also use, such as nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide and ozone. We therefore only use sensors from manufacturers who provide us with individual calibration data for each sensor. This is the only way to ensure accuracy.
In addition, we perform an additional base-line calibration prior to shipment of each instrument.
In the smartphone app, there is the option to perform the baseline calibration yourself at home. Furthermore, the air-Q has an automatic drift correction.
For cost reasons, we do not send individual calibration certificates.
The air-Q is supplied with the necessary power via a USB-C plug-in power supply (5 volts). In principle, any USB-compliant power supply unit can be used with the measuring device. However, we recommend using the original power supply unit supplied: This is a tested power supply unit that not only meets the legal requirements (EMC), but also the air-Q's demands for a constant power supply in order to provide precise measured values. The air-Q can also be used wirelessly - i.e. it can be supplied with power via a USB power bank / rechargeable battery / battery.
The air-Q requires power to record measurement data. If the power supply is interrupted, it is restarted as soon as the device is supplied with power again.
