For this purpose, the air meter analyzes the oxygen drop and triggers an alarm when critical limits are undershot, because anesthetic gases and other harmful gases displace oxygen. Normally, the O2 content in the air does not fluctuate by more than a maximum of 0.5%. Anything above this is exceptional and should be noticed in any case.
With the help of 11 sensors built into the device, the air-Q Safety Guard checks the components of the air in the motor home for gases such as narcotic gases, methane or carbon monoxide. The air analysis is performed in real time (interval ~ 1.8 seconds) and continuously.
