The gas alarm built into the air-Q is highly sensitive to various hazardous substances. If the set threshold values are exceeded or not reached, the gas alarm is triggered with an audible and visual alert on the air-Q. If push notifications are enabled, every device connected to the air-Q Cloud receives push and email notifications about the fire and smoke alarm.
Depending on the presence of the corresponding sensors, the air-Q gas alarm is triggered at the following thresholds:

The air-Q features a built-in fire (or smoke) alarm that triggers an audible and visual alert on the device. Thanks to a combination of several high-quality sensors, the air-Q acts as a highly sensitive and accurate smoke detector that is triggered much earlier. Optionally, the fire/smoke alarm can also be configured to send push notifications and email alerts.
The air-Q cannot be used as a code-compliant smoke detector, as it does not meet the requirements regarding installation location and independence from the electrical grid. The air-Q is powered by an electrical cord and not by batteries. However, the air-Q can complement an existing smoke detector, detect and report potentially dangerous situations more accurately—thanks to additional sensors—and thus sound the alarm earlier, which could be crucial.
