We spend a large part of our time indoors. Indoor air quality is a key factor in our well-being, and there are many potential sources of pollutants that, in most cases, go unnoticed. With the air-Q, you can measure all gases and aerosols that may be present. This allows you to identify the causes and pinpoint the sources. However, the air-Q is much more than just an air-quality analyzer. It functions as a comprehensive sensor for a wide range of situations and as a powerful signal transmitter for your smart home.

Based on the composition of the air and changes in gases such as carbon dioxide, humidity, and particles/fine particles, conclusions can be drawn about the environment. This makes it possible to determine whether the air quality is good or poor and what needs to be done. It is also possible to detect whether there are people in the room, whether a window is open, whether the heat is on, or whether the fireplace is lit.
Whenever we feel like it, we open the window or turn the heat on or off. These activities always follow similar patterns. What if they could be automated? This not only provides safety and comfort when you’re at home. You can also receive important alerts from your home when you’re away; thus, the air-Q also functions as a smart remote fire and gas detector or as a motion detector.
All values measured at a glance using the air-Q app for smartphones and the web
All measured values can be viewed and analyzed using the air-Q smartphone app (iOS and Android). The three main features provide quick access: the air-Q Health Index and the air-Q Performance Index, based on the Federal Environment Agency’s threshold values; real-time measurements and graphs; and the virtual health advisor. Nothing goes unnoticed, as the sensors used in the air-Q measure at a sampling rate of less than two seconds—in other words, truly in real time.
Thanks to the air-Q's open interfaces—including an HTTPS web server and an MQTT connection—the air-Q integrates seamlessly into your network and works with all standard smart home systems. There are no limits to conducting your own in-depth analyses or connecting to your smart home!
