Heating with firewood carries risks and pollutes the air we breathe with contaminants. The air-Q air analyzer, a fine-particle detector for wood-burning stoves, offers a solution and acts as a sensitive gas alarm. To do this, the air monitor records all relevant air components, monitors them, and alerts you when the levels rise too high. This allows you to easily identify sources of pollutants and eliminate them quickly. With the air-Q, you can avoid many dangers, such as a chimney fire, CO₂ pollution, or fatal carbon monoxide poisoning. Because the air-Q is the world’s most sensitive air sensor and gas detector—and it’s smart, too! Protect your home from anywhere and monitor the readings using the smartphone app or the desktop version.

Carbon monoxide is colorless and odorless and is produced during incomplete combustion. If you inhale too much of this combustion gas, you run the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning, which can lead to death within a short time. The air-Q measures the carbon monoxide level in the air for you and, as an excellent gas detector, alerts you as soon as the situation becomes dangerous—even when you’re not in the room.
During the early stages of a fire, various gases are released into the surrounding air. The air-Q detects even the slightest changes in air quality, even before a fire can start. This gives you and your family valuable time to react and eliminate the source of danger.
Even during normal operation, fine particles, higher levels of nitrogen oxides, and significant amounts of carbon dioxide are produced, as well as—depending on the fuel’s composition and purity—sulfur oxides and other gaseous chemicals such as formaldehyde. The goal is comfortable heat without any risk. This way, you and your family can enjoy optimal air quality.
All measured values can be viewed and analyzed using the air-Q smartphone app. Nothing goes unnoticed, since the sensors used in the air-Q measure at a sampling rate of less than two seconds—in other words, truly in real time. In addition, the air-Q can be networked and is compatible with standard smart home systems. Thanks to its open data interfaces, there are no limits to conducting your own in-depth analyses or integrating it with your smart home. Use our air-Q as a fine-particle detector for your wood-burning stove.
